Late Friday and early Saturday, King Abdullah airport in Jizan, southern Saudi Arabia, witnessed two explosives-laden drone attacks, leaving ten people injured, including six Saudis, three Bangladeshis, and one Sudanese. The Saudi-led coalition, involved in Yemen since 2015, supports the ousted government forces against the Iran-aligned Houthi group. The first attack caused damage to the airport’s facade windows, while the second drone was intercepted on Saturday. The Houthis, known for drone and missile attacks, have not claimed responsibility yet.
